You will be officially invited to attend the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizadry. Once you get enrolled, you get your own wand that is destined for you and then assigned with one of the four houses available by the sorting hat. Then, the game lets you learn fourteen different spells of the Harry Potter universe. The accelerometer turns your Apple iPhone into a magic wand and the spells include movie favourites such as Lumos, Expelleamus and Stupefy.

Though there is a single player mode included, you can have real fun with the game only when you opt for multiplayer mode. You can get the real Hogwarts style dual by playing against the other digital wizards. After casting a spell, each player’s magic wand ability is scored by a percentage. Later, one can even cast spells outside the classroom and find another nearby wizard by using the iPhone’s GPS capabilities and challenge the wizard for a duel. Players then take turns reciting incantations and moving their wrists in semicircles and other patterns to perform various spells on each other. And when the duel gets over, the players’ scores are calculated to see who had the most effective spells. Since the game connects to facebook, you also get a chance to boast about your wins.

Some of the key features of the game include exploring the official movie content, unlocking new content in the memory vial navigation system, interaction with the Pensieve’s 3D water effects, inserting moving footage into a wanted poster or the daily prophet and you can even save theatrical posters and images to use as your wallpaper.

The fun does not end just with Harry Potter as the iPhone gamers will also be able to enjoy Apollo 11 of Decode Entertainment. By playing this game, you would get a feeling as if you are controlling the whole of astronomy under your nose. The Apollo 11 game is basically designed to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the moon landings. The game’s goal is that, you will control the mission vehicles and also drive the rocket from lift off to oceanic splashdown.
